There are several benefits to keeping journal entries when it comes to just about any career path. There are many different contexts in which journals are used. However, despite this keeping personal journals can be extremely important for several different reasons such as keeping your thoughts organized and helping achieve your goals. These reasons I believe to be the most important when keeping journal entries. Moving on to this becomes much more relevant when understanding how beneficial it is to career and personal growth.
Even for personal use journal entries are extremely important in organizing one’s thoughts ranging from “daily events, express thoughts and feelings” (Journey, 2023) which everyone will experience in some way. Being able to take these scenarios and organize them within topics or themes can be crucial if you ever need to refer back to them. You never truly know what experience could be important to future developments. Leading to the next point is the benefits towards goals which I believe is the most important part of keeping multiple journal entries. We all have goals we want to achieve in life whether these goals are personal or career-related it is still something we want to reach. Therefore keeping track of them and your progress towards them is extremely useful, which is where the journals come in. Both of these aspects combined allow something as simple as keeping track of information within a journal to be one of the important things you can do for future growth.

- Provide a brief introduction of your desired career field.
- Provide an overview of each organization and the specific position you are applying to.
- You are required to include the name of the company and the company’s website, social media handles, and approximate number of employees.
- Describe two or three facts about the company that are interesting to you and explain why you would want to work for this company in the future.
